Stuffed Avocado with Yellowfin Tuna Tapas

Creamy avocado and yellowfin tuna is a great combination. Serve these at your next party and it’ll sure to be a hit. 

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans Van Camp’s Yellowfin Tuna, drained
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup chopped sweet onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup pickle relish
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed, or 1 Tablespoon fresh chopped dill
  • 3/4 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 4 medium avocados
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro

Instructions:

  • In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, onion, celery, relish, dill weed, Old Bay Seasoning, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  • Add the Yellowfin Tuna to mayonnaise mixture and toss gently to combine.
  • Pack the avocado halves with the tuna mixture. Top with chopped cilantro.
  • For a lighter low carb version, serve the tuna on lettuce leaves.
