Stuffed Avocado with Yellowfin Tuna Tapas
Creamy avocado and yellowfin tuna is a great combination. Serve these at your next party and it’ll sure to be a hit.
Ingredients:
- 2 cans Van Camp’s Yellowfin Tuna, drained
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup chopped sweet onion
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup pickle relish
- 1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed, or 1 Tablespoon fresh chopped dill
- 3/4 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
- 4 medium avocados
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, onion, celery, relish, dill weed, Old Bay Seasoning, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
- Add the Yellowfin Tuna to mayonnaise mixture and toss gently to combine.
- Pack the avocado halves with the tuna mixture. Top with chopped cilantro.
- For a lighter low carb version, serve the tuna on lettuce leaves.
